About BVC Testing Lab
BestVacuumCleaner.co exists to solve a single problem: vacuum marketing is full of theoretical numbers that bear little resemblance to real-world cleaning in an active home.
Why We Focus Exclusively on Smart Floor Care
General consumer review sites test everything from air fryers to lawnmowers. By narrowing our focus strictly to smart floor care — autonomous robot vacuums, sensor-guided cordless sticks, and self-cleaning wet-dry combos — we can evaluate every meaningful machine with an identical, calibrated protocol.
When a new flagship vacuum is announced claiming "10,000 Pa suction" or "AI obstacle avoidance," we don't rewrite the press release. We buy the unit at retail, disburse standardized flour, rice, and pet hair across our 140 m² multi-surface living facility, and test whether it actually keeps floors clean without babysitting.
Who We Are
The BVC Lab is operated by an independent team of hardware reviewers, former consumer electronics engineers, and home-automation enthusiasts. We live in the testing facility alongside two high-shedding dogs (a golden retriever and a border terrier) and a long-haired cat, ensuring our 30-day living trials capture every real-world tangle, map drift, and roller issue.
The Three BVC Lab Commitments
Retail Units Only
We purchase our test machines from open retail channels. Zero cherry-picked golden review units from manufacturer PR teams.
30-Day Living Trials
No vacuum is scored after a 15-minute bench test. Every machine runs on our daily household schedule for a full month.
Open Telemetry
We publish our measured numbers: decibel readings, weighed debris pickup percentages, and obstacle avoidance ratios.
